Fitting in…

Hi everyone and welcome back to another blog!
Todays topic will be about fitting in and how it can be a struggle fitting in… in Turners it’s very common for a girl to look younger than she actually is… it’s a running joke in my family that I look twelve years old but in reality I am nineteen but instead of looking at the negative I choose to look at the positive which is that when I’m older and in my thirties it will be a blessing because I will look young… I have overcome this by help with my family and thinking positive! Remember that anything is possible and that you are a miracle!!

  1. Hi Emma, I have a question for you. I read this post yesterday and in it you wrote about how people think you’re much younger than you are based on you appearance. My question is, do you sound younger too? I’m just asking out of curiosity; I was born blind so I rely on voices in much the same way that those who can see rely on faces or appearance, if you know what I mean.

  2. Oh OK, I wasn’t sure; I would’ve thought that because of how late you started hormones that the delay would have caused you to sound younger than you are. I’m glad to know that’s not the case, although either scenario would have been fine with me. 😊
